'Di Na Muli' by Itchyworms Released Its Official Music Video

The Itchyworms is a Filipino Rock Band with their hit songs, Beer, Akin Ka Na Lang, Ayokong Tumanda, Kabataang Pinoy. They even won an award for Himig Handog in the past year.

Now, they have released their Official Music Video for the song "Di Na Muli." It was written by Jazz Nicolas and Wally Acolola and performed by the Itchyworms which Jazz Nicolas is a band member.

They entered the song into the 5th Philippine Popular (PhilPop) Music Festival and won the grand prize. Now, the song has been given a new life as it became the official soundtrack of the hit film, "Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story)" starred by Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes.

Between PhilPop and “Sid & Aya (Not a Love Story),” the Itchyworms set out to immortalize the song. The result was a visually stunning and emotional music video, which was directed by Paolo Abella. Juno Oebanda, being a longtime friend of the Itchyworms, presented the concept of the video and sought the generous indulgence of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The video cites to be as a tribute to the late Teddy Hilado known as the father of lighting design in the Philippine theater.

As a tribute, Rosky Balahadia Hilado(Teddy's widow) and Carissa Adea(member of the Ballet Philippines) are also featured in the music video. The song’s themes of love, loss, and words left unspoken are embodied in the elegant performances of Rosky and Adea and in the video’s sweeping visuals, all captured within the hallowed halls of the CCP. The music video seeks to serve as a loving tribute to Teddy, whose influence is still felt and recognized to this day.

The members of The Itchyworms are now proud to share the first ever music video shot inside the CCP. They extend heartfelt thanks to those who helped bring the music video to fruition.

Hot or Not? Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighter Review

Highlighters are the most expensive ones to add into your make up collection. So, I've come to an idea, why not find what would be the MOST AFFORDABLE baked highlighter on the market?

There were lots of products that I've encountered but only one product caught my eye because it really fits into what I'm looking for.

I got the Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighter on the shade Strobe.

Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighter Review

Decided just to get the shade that I could really use every day. The other one is the Candlelight which has more yellow tone and they say it is a perfect dupe for the Fenty Trophy Wife Highlighter.

This one retails for only 199php... would that price be worth it? Let us see.

Packaging wise, you can read anything on the box Short Description, Ingredients, Manufacturer, and Expiration.  You could also read everything at the back of the compact. When you remove the compact from the box it comes with a sturdy plastic.
Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighter Review

Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighter Review
I love how the texture feels, it is very velvety and soft. The color pay-off is consistent. However, the product is dry so there are few fallouts. If you have dry skin the formula of the highlighter will work well when you put it on top of your foundation. Since it is dry, I have noticed that the product can be easily removed. You better bring this when you wear it for a day because it is not long lasting. If you have big pores, I do not recommend this one. It really emphasizes them. But you can avoid that when you apply the product carefully and minimally.

Ever Bilena Advance Glow Out Highlighter Review

Pros and Cons

Pros: It's cheap. This product will not break you and your wallet. You can use it every day, no worries when you run out of the product since it is locally made.

Cons: It is not long lasting and emphasizes pores. I guess not everyone is fond of that.

Final Verdict

HOT. Considering the pros and some cons.  Well, I am the one who can be patient and has the time to retouch her makeup. I have no problem if it is not long lasting. I just love how it looks on my skin, the perfect glow, which is not shimmery but it is not that glittery.

REVIEW: Wangskin Lip Tattoo Pen

Imagine the days you were in pre-school and playing with glue on your hands. Isn't it the peeling off of the glue was super satisfying? I could compare the satisfaction when I tried this Lip Tattoo Pen from Wangskin.
REVIEW: Wangskin Lip Tattoo Pen
I received this product from Charis Celeb. It was my first Try Me Product from Charis. That's why I was very excited to try this one and see if it will pass my standards.

On the package with full of tape and bubble wrap, I got the instructions and of course, the Wangskin's Lip Tattoo Pen. I have got the product in color Red. They have two other colors which are Pink and Orange. I picked red because I think I could play with it a little more.
REVIEW: Wangskin Lip Tattoo Pen
On its packaging, only I could read are the product name and the direction and the rest is written in Korean *annyeonghaseyo*

On the product itself, you could see its expiration at the back and says 6 months after opening. The product comes in a tube with a slanted applicator. Making it easy for the user to glide on lips.

To use this Wangskin's Lip Tattoo Pen, first, you need to clean your lips and applied the desired amount within the lines of the lips. Then, you will wait for it to dry in 15-20 minutes. Once it is dry, peel it gently. If you want a more vibrant color then you can definitely wait a bit longer and vice versa if you want a lighter pigmentation.
REVIEW: Wangskin Lip Tattoo Pen

Thoughts?

Wangskin's Lip Tattoo Pen is fun to use because of the peeling part. I'm surprised that the color pigmentation is great and not transferable even when you drink or eat.

But I want to take note of few things, Wangskin's Lip Tattoo Pen has a strong smell. And since this is a lip product, I hope that they can improve how it tastes. Lastly, I think it is not convenient to wait for 15-20 minutes just to achieve your desired color. Of course, I would love to use a more convenient product.

For me, it is not a cons to have a strong smell or bitter taste. It is bearable.

Summer Makeup Essentials 2018

Hey ladies! Summer hasn't officially begun according to PAG-ASA but you can already feel the hot weather!

Summer is fast approaching, it's time for you to take out all your bikinis and flaunt everything you've got. Feel confident about yourselves. While summer is the bikini season and beach getaway, it is not the reason for us to stop wearing makeup. Come on, no one wants to see their bare face and look haggarda. It has been a week since I started this makeup routine and I've figured out, why not share it with you guys.
Let's start with the base, I start off with iWhite Korea Facial Cream, it gives that powder smooth finish to my face which I really like. It also has SPF 15 which protects my skin from UVA and UVB rays of the sun. Then, I top it off with Hortaleza, MD Sunscreen for Face and Body, just for extra sun protection. This product is lightweight even if it feels tacky when you touch it but there's no problem with that because I will set it. Never forget to put sunscreen because the sun is the main reason for skin destruction!
Then to even out my skin imperfection I will conceal it with Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and set everything with Johnson's Baby Powder(I love this, amoy baby!) or Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Powder Foundation. The Maybelline powder is definitely perfect because it gives extra coverage but doesn't feel heavy on the face. My skin is prone to oiliness since it's summer but this will control your shine. So, I love it!
For brows, of course, I wanna be that "Kilay is Life" even I'm soaked up in water. I use Etude House Drawing Eyebrow or Nichido Precise Mineral Precise Eye Pencil (trusted since I was 16!) these two are my holy grail products. I think I would cry or be miserable if these two will be phased out.
I'm not a mascara-type of girl but I would love to treat them with Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof Mascara. It is the only mascara I use (and the Hyper Curl Mascara, anything available when I buy).
To finish the look, I will bring back color to my face using this KJM Lip and Cheek Tint. I'm obsessed with this product. It doesn't have that bitter taste and I love that you can build up the product on your lips to achieve that color you really want.

There you go guys... how about you, what's your routine to feel fresh for the rest of summer? Share it with me.

Love,
Summer Makeup Essentials 2018

Get City-Ready Skin with the New Vaseline Healthy White Sun + Pollution Protection

I have never been so addicted to skincare until my acne hit me hard last year. I have learned that environment contributes a major role in making our skin healthy.

Our skin does a lot more than making us look presentable. It acts as a shield, and it prevents diseases. I am encouraging everyone that you should love your skin and do extra steps to keep it healthy.
Skincare is one of the most important things to do but we take it for granted. Being committed to your skincare routine is challenging, especially when you have to work hard to balance career and personal lives. There are even some activities that expose your skin to pollution and to the harmful rays of the sun, thus causing damage to the natural moisture of your skin.

Prolonged and excessive sun exposure is one of the causes of skin destruction. This can even lead to skin darkening, aging, or cancer (*scary.) That's why it's best to apply sunscreen whenever we go out.

It is difficult to protect and hydrate your skin at the same time because of a polluted environment.  Little did we know that pollutants can trigger oxidation and can cause the destruction of skin cells.
There are a lot of products that have sunscreen, but do you even know if they also protect your skin from pollution? Pollution can be everywhere and we must be equipped with the new Vaseline Healthy White Sun + Pollution Protection!

Don't worry ladies, with this new product from Vaseline, it will give our skin the love and nourishment it deserves.

I have tried different variants of Vaseline lotion before, and I'm so happy that Vaseline came up with their new product, (Vaseline Healthy White Sun + Pollution Protection) because it prevents skin damage from sun exposure and pollution. This fits perfectly for ladies like me, who are always out in the metro. I don't even need to worry about feeling sticky because of the non-stickiness of the Vaseline Healthy White Sun + Pollution Protection (No kadiring lagkit feeling!!!)

Vaseline Healthy White Sun + Pollution Protection has PPF or Pollution Protection Formula that guards skin against pollution aggressors. It promotes a healthy skin barrier through moisturization.
It contains Glycerin for moisture, Stearic Acid for healthy skin, Niacinamide for maintaining fair skin. Petroleum Jelly traps moisture and blocks any skin-damaging matter and Vitamin E as an antioxidant.
Get City-Ready Skin with Vaseline Healthy White Sun + Pollution Protection. It's perfect for keeping your skin protected and achieving a healthy, city-ready skin!

Now, I can go out in the sun and streets without worrying about damaging my skin because I am city-ready with the new Vaseline Healthy White Sun + Pollution Protection.

Hotel Review: Zen Rooms Casa Bel Inn, Baguio City

Hotel Review: Zen Rooms Casa Bel Inn, Baguio City

More than a month ago, my boyfriend and I celebrated my 23rd birthday in Baguio City, the Summer Capital of the Philippines. We stayed for a night and I am glad to share that finding hotels in Baguio City was never been that hard. I booked our hotel in Agoda mobile app, which I have been using since last year. Using this app, you will discover more hotels with good discounts. Luckily, through this app, we found our home for a night. The place is called Zen Rooms Casa Bel Inn and we got it for only 1,500php. I guess that was a good deal for a great place to stay.

Zen Rooms Casa Bel Inn is located along Marcos Highway, a few minutes away from the town center. I don't mind if it is not located in the town center because taxis are all over Baguio City and in fact, you can book your ride through Grab Taxi App. No worries about getting lost.

Upon arrival at Zen Rooms Casa Bel Inn at past 6 pm, they accommodated us, gave the keys and showed the room. I was surprised how it looks, better in person than the picture in Agoda app! We got more for less price. Also, they let us pay upon checkout.

What I love about the place

I would like to commend how clean everything is. I love how comfy and cozy the bed is, with clean white sheet and comforter coupled with two fluffy pillows and two throw pillows. Beside the bed, there is a bedside table with a telephone to call the front desk. And how can I forget, their wifi connection is stable.

For the price of 1,500php, you'll have a television set, cabinet, towels,  wifi and a balcony.

The toilet and bath are spacious and it has a hot and cold shower which is perfect for the cold Baguio City. I love how clean it is and it has a mirror, not all hotel bathrooms have a mirror.

Zen Rooms Casa Bel Inn provided basic toiletries, soap shampoo, sanitizer, toothbrush, and toothpaste. All of these are in the pouch provided by Zen Rooms, and yes you can take this home!

The downside

Overall, I liked the place because it passed my standards but I just hope that should have had a free breakfast. Another downside is there was no signal since their rooms are located in the basements of their building.

Despite these downsides, I love Zen Rooms Casa Bel Inn. Like I told you, you'll get more for less! It is ideal for people who will just need a place to rest and have a good night sleep.

You may check room availability and updated room rates at their website www.zenrooms.com.

I am a Law Student

How will I begin? Hmm...

In 2016, I had a big leap to start my dream come true to become a lawyer (my parents' too). I passed the entrance examination for Saint Louis University School of Law. How can I forget the time I knew that I passed, I jumped so many times and screamed so loud. My heart was filled with joy. At that moment, I think I made the best decision of my life to continue my student life in law school. No matter how hard and long is the process. (Related video:  I AM GOING TO LAW SCHOOL (Experience + Isai Rivera) // ZAM F)

I am a Law Student - Zam Fuellos

Studying law, based on my experience, is not really easy. All they said about law school before entering into was a lot worse than I thought. Adjusting was my enemy because I am not used to a lot of reading assignments and such studying habits. It was slowly killing me. I finished my first semester but I got two failing grades. It seemed like it was the end of my world. All the questions started to build up in my head ... was this worth it? where did I make a mistake? Nevertheless, I never gave up and finished my second semester strong with no failing grade.

I had to enroll in the 'short-term' or what they call 'summer classes', so I can finish everything (all my failed subjects) quickly.

Then, the struggle began. I was trusting the process of the days and nights of studying. But, believe me, I was not mentally prepared. All I feel was, I was empty and tired. One day, I just broke down while taking my quiz, so I walked out and never came back. It was like someone was screaming into my inner self that "I NEED A BREAK". So I did.

The time off law school was not a waste of time because I've learned something. I've realized that becoming a lawyer doesn't happen just a snap. It takes time. And studying law doesn't only need you to be physically healthy but also mentally healthy. Sometimes you have to need a break even you feel that you don't have to.

After six months off my books and case briefs, here I am... AGAIN. Standing up for myself. School will start in less than a week and so I decided this new topic on my blog to keep me motivated and inspire all the inspiring lawyers out there. Also, writing improves my mental health. :)

I hope you guys will be with me on this journey!

Laters,

Zam

Month 2 of Accutane

Month 2 of Accutane

I think this calls for a celebration!

I went to my doctor three days ago, and finally, she said my skin is doing good. No more active acne and she told me that she will no longer change the dose of Isotretinoin. I took 20mg on my first and second month and she said it is the lowest dose but my skin reacted to it positively. I will be back for a check-up in four months!
BEFORE - AFTER

Month 2 of AccutaneMonth 2 of Accutane

Month 2 of AccutaneMonth 2 of Accutane

Left: After 1 month
Right: After 2 months

Seeing improvements in two months is incredible. I still have acne marks but I don't care because this is so much better than seeing my red bumpy face. Acne marks will fade over time.

Again, I was extremely dry and this time it becomes itchy. My skin on my nose and cheeks was micro-peeling. I was using the prescribed Hypo-Liquid Soap by my dermatologist as a facial wash, I have been using this since Day 1 and I am telling you it is not enough, so I use Celeteque Facial Moisturizer of their "Hydration" product line. It is non-comedogenic so that I won't be worried to get clogged pores. So for my body, I was using Dove Soap Bar and it does its job.

Now, I receive compliments about my skin and how good looking it is than my before-Accutane-skin. It gives me reassurance that in time my skin will be fresh and good as new. I am getting my confidence back since I can go out now, even without a make-up. Seriously, I am tired hiding my true skin so hopefully, when I finish this treatment, my skin will be better.

What do you think on my journey? If you are suffering from acne feel free to leave a comment and share your experience.

First Month of Accutane

First Month of Accutane

Hello there, I am here again to update you guys on my Accutane Journey.

I told you in my last update that I experience a terrible headache on the first try. Then as I take it every day, I started to get really dry lips and skin, and two ore more acne was active.  Aside from those, I haven't experienced anything else. But it was only 2 weeks of medication. Now, I finished 1 month of Accutane, 20mg a day.

Here is the Before and After picture.

BEFORE - AFTER

Right Cheek

Left Cheek
First Month of AccutaneFirst Month of Accutane

If you will look carefully, there's a big change. Let us compare my Before (photo on my last update: Day 15) and After (photo I took after a month of Accutane.) I don't know if I will say that it is an improvement.

On my forehead, yes it is improving because on my Before photo I have 3 active zits and on my After photo, I can only see one but it is not red. It looks like it is becoming an acne mark.

Look closely at my right cheek, it has gotten worst! Before photos have only 2 active zits and few acne marks. On my After photo, there is one acne but I had a lot of acne marks which you can tell that I had acne in the span of 2 weeks.

On my other cheek, this is really improving. No active zits and the acne marks are fading.

I had my check-up done 3 days ago. I have a new set of Accutane in 20mg to take every day. My doctor also gave me an Antibacterial cream for my active acne. Instead of Acne Gel, I will use the Antibacterial cream for spot treatment. Aside from the cream, I have to take Antibacterial tablets twice a day for a week. The cream and the tablet will help my acne not to become infected or as we see it, sore and red.

If there still one to three zits showing, then my doctor will increase the dosage of my Accutane.
Another meaning of this is "get ready, side effects will get worst!" So I have to be ready for that. So far, I don't experience anything aside from the side effects I have mentioned before.

It is true that this treatment will give you struggle. Like other bloggers say, it is no joke. But hey, there comes a rainbow after the rain. Til next update guys!
